Sakina has a Masters in Business Management and many years of work experience in the corporate world. But painting has always been her passion. Most of the art techniques that you see in her artwork are a result of her curiosity to create. She loves color and makes artworks using Sculpture painting, Resin Art, Gold foil Art and Abstract Art.

Why is it important for people to have art in their home or life?
Having art in our homes or life allows us to express ourselves, adds beauty and visual appeal, evokes emotions, inspires creativity, enriches our cultural understanding, and contributes to our personal well-being. It transforms our living spaces into more meaningful and fulfilling environments, making art an essential element of our homes.
Best season of the year in Toronto
Spring in Toronto brings a refreshing change after the winter months. The city starts to come alive with blossoming cherry trees and colorful tulips. The temperatures gradually warm up, and outdoor activities become more enjoyable. Spring also marks the beginning of various cultural festivals and events in the city.
Why is art important to you?
Art was always a hobby for me. As a child, I learnt many art techniques in my free time. But as I grew older and pursued my career in business management, Art became more of an outlet to unwind after a busy day. However, Covid was a game changer for me like everyone else and it made me reevaluate my priorities and work on what I am truly passionate about. So here we are, today I work as a fulltime artist under my brand Maple Arts,Toronto
